Retail Training Program:
WSFS provides extensive training and mentoring programs. The programs educate Associates about the techniques and nuances of selling through service.
The learning program for the Personal Banker (PB) position consists of classroom learning in addition to hands-on experience at banking office locations, which allow Associates to apply the knowledge and skills learned in the classroom. Upon successful completion of the program, WSFS Personal Bankers join the Retail Banking team of qualified Associates and are scheduled to rotate throughout various banking office locations (assigned by geographic region) where they will promote banking products and services to our valued customers. The goal of this program is to ensure that each Associate is positioned for success and has the necessary knowledge needed to provide stellar service and incorporate effectively into the culture of our organization.
Management Associate Program:
The vision of WSFS is to create a culture of Stellar Service creating a customer experience like none other. We all know it takes good leaders who are willing to motivate and engage Associates to make customers feel special and valued. We pride ourselves on a program with a length and depth that rivals many degrees. The goal is to create Associates who cannot only run a banking office, but who can engage customers and Associates in various ways at all levels. To give stellar service involves more than a core knowledge of checking / savings accounts, CDs, Mortgages, IRAs, wire transfer services, credit/debt cards, auto loans, and home equity lines of credit. It is more than good budgeting, profitability, and compliance. Efficient leaders must also know all facts of their business and their facilities to provide the ultimate customer experience.
In the Management Associate program, Associates rotate through a variety of departments (over 18 months) learning the fundamentals of retail, commercial, small business, and investment banking. Rotations will cover telephone customer service, retail operations, retail banking branches, retail loan operations, human capital management, small business lending, and private banking. Throughout the experience you will be groomed and developed with the tools to give exceptional customer service and create an exciting environment for Associates to work within.
