Below is a summary of the strategic opportunities available to help develop your career at WSFS:
- Training — helps Associates improve their cross-sell skills and their knowledge of financial products and helps Associates understand the value of providing stellar customer service and their role in achieving it.
- Tuition Assistance — Associates are reimbursed for higher learning.
- Mentor Programs — Veteran Associates serve as role models, helping new Associates gain a greater understanding for the banking business.
Retail Training Program:
WSFS provides extensive training and mentoring programs. The programs educate Associates about the techniques and nuances of selling through service.
The learning program for the Personal Banker (PB) position consists of classroom learning in addition to hands-on experience at banking office locations, which allow Associates to apply the knowledge and skills learned in the classroom. Upon successful completion of the program, WSFS Personal Bankers join the Retail Banking team of qualified Associates and are scheduled to rotate throughout various banking office locations (assigned by geographic region) where they will promote banking products and services to our valued customers. The goal of this program is to ensure that each Associate is positioned for success and has the necessary knowledge needed to provide stellar service and incorporate effectively into the culture of our organization.
