Kelly A. Wellborn

Kelly A. Wellborn, CFP®
President and Chief Operating Officer

Prior to being named President of Cypress, Kelly served as Senior Vice President of Operations and Portfolio Manager. During her 23 year career with the firm, Kelly’s responsibilities included management of business operations, supervision of all personnel, client communication and services. She has been a member of the Cypress Investment Policy Committee for over 15 years and currently oversees portfolio management directives.

Before her association with Cypress, Ms. Wellborn was with Brandywine Investors, Inc., an Investment Advisory group that combined with Cypress in 1987. From 1981 – 1985, Kelly was a Trust Operations Officer at Southeast National Bank in PA and American Guaranty and Trust in DE. Kelly is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Vice President for the Delaware Society of Financial Service Professionals. She graduated from the University of Delaware in 1981 with a B.S. in Accounting.


Jeffrey P McCabe

Senior Vice President, Director of Investment Research

Jeff serves as Senior Vice President – Portfolio Manager. Jeff joined Cypress in 2003 as a Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager. He has over 17 years of investment experience including an Investment Officer at Wheat First Securities and Portfolio Manager at Flagship Capital Management. Jeff is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a member of the Financial Analysts of Philadelphia. He graduated in 1984 from Widener University with a B.S. in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).


Raymond J. McCaffrey

Chief Investment Officer

Ray has over 25 years of investment experience managing institutional, mutual fund and high net worth accounts. For the last 10 years, he has been involved in start-up asset management firms, most recently with FourScore Income Partners, L.P. Previously, Ray was the portfolio manager for the PBHG Large Cap Value Fund. From 2000 – 2003, the fund won several Lipper Awards for outstanding investment performance in its category. Prior to joining PBHG, Ray was a portfolio manager and research analyst at Pitcairn Trust Company, and earlier led the research effort at Cypress Capital Management. Ray graduated, cum laude, from Villanova University in 1985 with a B.S. in Economics. He received an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance in 1987 from Carnegie Mellon University Tepper School of Business. Ray is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).


Gary D. Haubold, CFA

Gary has over 25 years of investment experience managing and trading institutional, mutual fund and high net worth accounts. For the last 8 years, he was involved in start-up asset management firms, most recently with FourScore Income Partners, L.P. Previously, Gary was the senior portfolio manager for the Nationwide Fund and a number of other large cap, mid cap and small cap investment funds for Aberdeen Asset Management, which acquired the Gartmore subsidiary of Nationwide in 2007. Prior to joining Gartmore, Gary founded the Edge Capital hedge fund, and earlier managed award-winning small cap and mid cap value portfolios for two large Philadelphia money managers, PBHG Value Investors and Miller, Anderson & Sherrerd. Gary graduated/magna cum laude/from Rice University in 1980 with a B.S. in Structural Engineering. He received an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance in 1983 from the Wharton School of Business at the University ofPennsylvania. Gary is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).


Seth Dadds

Seth Dadds, CFA®
Investment Analyst

Seth joined Cypress in 2013 as an Investment Analyst. He has over 15 years of investment experience, including eight years as an Equity Research Analyst for GARP Research. At GARP, Seth conducted fundamental equity research on companies in the technology, financial services, and mining industries. Before that, he spent six years at T. Rowe Price in their brokerage division. He graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Management in 1997 and earned his Master of Science in Finance from Loyola University Maryland in 2000. In 2009 Seth was awarded the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
