WSFS Loves Small Businesses: Dolly’s Boutique & Consignment Keeps Up on Fashion Trends for Clients While Giving Back to Their Community

Through December 16, WSFS Bank and FOX 29 are teaming up each week to honor a small business in the Greater Philadelphia and Delaware region that lifts the spirits of others by going above and beyond to serve their customers and communities. WSFS Bank is proud to provide Dolly’s Boutique & Consignment with a $1,000 award, a live segment on FOX 29’s Good Day Philadelphia and Random Acts of Kindness for their customers as part of the WSFS Bank Loves Small Businesses Holiday Program.

In the 12 years since opening Dolly’s Boutique & Consignment in the Mt. Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia, Shani Newton has strived to accomplish two things that are important to her success.

Provide affordable designer clothes and accessories for her clients and give back to her community in any way she can.

When clients visit her store, Shani extends her eye for fashion to luxurious experiences, offering an array of snacks and beverages to enjoy as they shop including wine, shrimp, cupcakes and cookies while showing the warmth and kindness clients have come to expect from Shani over the years.

That’s because in addition to helping her clients dress for success, Shani supports her community, holding fundraisers for her church and neighborhood organizations, and celebrating her birthday each year by giving needed items and support to local women’s shelters!
