The Flourtown Swim Club, a beloved summer destination, brings the Springfield Township community together for recreation, friendship, and family tradition for over 65 years.

With three heated pools, a large waterslide, a summer camp, swim team, and pickleball, basketball, and tennis courts, the club offers something for everyone.

“It’s very community-oriented, fun loving—this is the place to be,” said Jeremy Shackleford, Business Banking Director of Sales at WSFS Bank.

Club owners Ray Webb, Nick D’Orazio and camp director Danny Collins share that spirit. As educators, they spend their summer breaks cultivating the welcoming atmosphere that keeps families coming back year after year.

One of the most popular offerings is the summer camp, which has hosted children for over 18 years. “It is one of the best in the area,” said camp director Danny Collins. The kids take advantage of a plethora of activities from swim lessons to sports, and even a hands-on sustainable garden.

The swim team is an equally integral part of the Flourtown Swim Club community, and is managed by Nick D’Orazio, who has been affiliated with the club since he was five years old.

With a shared commitment to foster community, the Flourtown Swim Club works with WSFS Bank to continue providing members with the best experience possible.

“We partner with them through every step of their journey, meet them where they are, and help get them where they want to be,” said Shackleford.

Club President Ray Webb echoed, noting that “The line of service helps us, and the service levels are outstanding.”

For more than six decades, the Flourtown Swim Club has remained at the heart of the community each summer, providing a welcoming place where families can make lasting memories together.

Through its partnership with 6abc and FYI Philly, WSFS is proud to spotlight stories like Flourtown Swim Club.
