Small businesses are the backbone of many communities. As a community bank, WSFS has been serving the Greater Philadelphia and Delaware region for nearly 200 years, providing vital support to local businesses.
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) recently released their regional fiscal year rankings for 2023, with WSFS ranking first in Delaware for dollars lent through SBA 7(a) loans and second in Eastern Pennsylvania!
In Delaware, WSFS’ SBA Team provided more than $12.7 million in SBA 7(a) loans, and in Eastern Pennsylvania more than $41.9 million to support small businesses.
“The WSFS team was great, a true partner for us,” said Arush Pandya, Mighty Quinn’s BBQ franchisee. “We were new to franchising and the SBA, but the WSFS team guided us through the process to secure the capital we needed to get started.”
“Carl Buchholz was instrumental in helping us secure the loan to purchase Mulch and More,” said Ethan Seeley, Co-President at Mulch and More. “He understood the dedication and investment we had already made, and our local roots were a perfect match with WSFS Bank.”
