Nick Velecico

Nick Velecico joined WSFS Mortgage in January 2022, bringing with him 28 years of banking experience. Prior to joining WSFS, he served as Vice President, CRA Loan Officer for Bryn Mawr Trust, a position that included promoting the bank’s CRA initiatives in low- and moderate-income communities within the bank’s assessment area. Nick has also held positions as a branch manager for Gateway Funding/Finance America, Irwin Union Bank and GE Capital Funding.

Nick is Bilingual Spanish and attended Temple University and The University of Pennsylvania. He has a long history of multicultural relationship building with the Hispanic community in the Delaware Valley.

Nick is an advocate for affordable housing, is a member of Autism Speaks and a volunteer for the Greater Philadelphia Financial Services Leadership Coalition. In his spare time, he enjoys local parks, historical attractions, cooking, crypto chatter, soccer, and is a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan.
