Growth and impact are central to WSFS Bank’s culture, and Parker Dunson’s journey is a clear example of both. Starting as a season teller in 2023, moving into a Product Management Internship in 2025, and now serving as a Management Trainee in the Consumer Bank, Dunson has experienced WSFS from multiple perspectives.

Three years and three roles after his first day, Dunson is now among the first associates in WSFS’ Consumer Bank Management Trainee Program, a 24‑month, full-time rotation pilot program designed to develop top intern talent.

“The program provides exposure across core Consumer Bank functions, blending strategic, analytical, frontline, and project-based experience,” he explained.

Dunson says his internship was a moment in his development, particularly in building his confidence. He credits his managers who respected him early on, remembering how they valued his ideas rather than dismissing them due to his title or experience level.

“That kind of respect and trust is rare, especially for someone early in their career,” he said. “It’s made the decision to stay at WSFS an easy one.” Today, his confidence and skillset carry into his work as he rotates through six departments: Product Management & Application Strategy, Finance & Analytics, Business Banking, Home Lending, Sales Enablement & Learning, and Retail Delivery.

“No two days look the same,” he said. Dunson collaborates with stakeholders across different teams from fraud to lending, helping with process involvement or client-facing initiatives. Depending on the day, he builds solutions in Python, prepares market research for another product manager, and aligns a cross-departmental project deliverable.

“I really enjoy the variety and breadth of work,” he shared.

Dunson’s perspective exemplifies the purpose of the Consumer Bank Management Trainee pilot program, which is to empower curious, driven individuals to develop solutions that enhance both customer experience and business performance. His contributions to home equity applications, portfolio retention, and internal product-tracking systems are already making an impact across the bank.

That impact, he says, is a direct reflection of the environment that shaped him, and when asked why he continues choosing WSFS, Dunson points to the company’s culture.

“WSFS genuinely invests in its associates, and that investment is evident in meaningful opportunities, thoughtful development programs, and accessible leadership,” he said.

With that support as a foundation, Dunson remains focused on continuing his growth and building on the skills he first developed as an intern—aiming to make lasting, meaningful contributions at WSFS for years to come.

Dunson is part of a pilot program for Consumer Banking and one of several people part of pilot programs across different areas of the company. If you are interested in taking the next step to join WSFS as an intern or in a full-time role, you can learn more by going to wsfsbank.com/careers.
