WSFS Bank and Philadelphia Union Build Bikes for Boys and Girls Club of Chester, Pennsylvania

In celebration of Juneteenth, WSFS Bank proudly partnered with the Philadelphia Union to build bikes for the Boys and Girls Club of Chester, Pennsylvania, a non-profit that empowers children and teens to build a brighter future.

WSFS volunteers, executive leadership and the Philadelphia Union front office came together to build bikes and safety kits before surprising the 20 children. After receiving their new rides, the children decorated the bikes and helmets with stickers, met Union mascot, Phang, and did a group ride around the Union campus. Several WSFS Associates taught the children how to ride their bikes.

These bikes offer more than just smiles — they provide a reliable mode of transportation, promote healthy lifestyles and encourage outdoor activity.
