As WSFS Chairman, President, and CEO Rodger Levenson rang the Nasdaq Closing Bell to celebrate 40 years as a publicly traded company, the moment honored not only a financial milestone but the people who helped get the company to where it is today.
“A company is only as strong as the people who build it,” said Levenson, as he was surrounded by dedicated WSFS Associates, including many who have been with the company for 40 years or more.
The event on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, marked 40 years on the exchange with some of the longest-tenured Associates standing beside leadership at the Nasdaq Closing Bell. One of those Associates was Leslie Herrick, a WSFS ERM Analyst, whose career spans more than five decades across Bryn Mawr Trust and WSFS.

Throughout her 53 years with the company, Herrick has worked in lending, marketing, operations, technology, and ultimately enterprise risk management. While technology has evolved, she says the culture of investing in people and serving Clients has remained the same.
“WSFS is both Client- and Associate-oriented, and I love its commitment to diversity, outreach, charitable work, and that they care,” said Herrick. “I’m proud to work for an organization that has integrity and doesn’t say one thing and behaves a different way behind closed doors.”
Herrick and other WSFS Associates joined Levenson in celebrating the accomplishments of not only reaching 40 years as a publicly traded company but nearly 200 years of serving the Greater Philadelphia and Delaware region.
“Reaching this milestone reflects both our financial strength and the deep relationships we’ve built with our Clients, Communities, and fellow Associates,” said Levenson during the event.
