When Dana Ampy first opened Amped To Dance in Maple Shade, N.J., she made it her mission to foster self-confidence and creativity through dance in a fun, energetic environment. Amped To Dance offers multiple levels of instruction in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, acrobatics, African, hip hop, liturgical dance, Zumba and more. Dana joined WSFS Bank and Good Day Philadelphia on FOX 29 to kick off WSFS Bank’s Small Business Month celebration!
The key for any small business’ success is access to capital, whether they are just getting established or looking to expand their physical presence or products and services. When Dana worked with WSFS Bank to purchase her first commercial space, which Amped To Dance will be moving into soon, she was “breaking a generational curse.”
Her mother did not have an opportunity to own a home or a business and although she passed away before Dana closed on the loan, she was able to see her daughter become a small business owner.
“We are proud to work with Dana to support her goals and see Amped To Dance thrive,” said Candice Caruso, Senior Vice President, Chief Consumer Lending Officer for WSFS Bank. “Small businesses are the economic engines of our communities and when they succeed, we all succeed. We encourage everyone to support small businesses throughout the year.”
WSFS Bank will also be joining Bob Kelly all month on his show, Kelly Drives, to spotlight WSFS small business Customers, their stories and how they are working with WSFS to achieve success for their small businesses.
Stay tuned!
