Game On State and WSFS Bring Purpose and Play Together with 6ABC

At Game On State in Media, Pennsylvania, fun is around every corner. This retro arcade and candy store features more than 45 games, from pinball to Pac-Man and more than 400 types of candy, offering something for everyone who walks through the door.

But behind the games and sweet treats is a deeper purpose.

Game On State operates under the nonprofit Aneway for Purpose, founded by Aimee and Eric Rubin, with a mission to employ and engage individuals with disabilities and special needs. Many team members begin as volunteers, creating a natural path into meaningful employment and skill building.

“We focus on what people can do, not what they can’t,” said Aimee, a mindset that has shaped both the business and the community it serves.

To bring their vision to life, Aimee and Eric partnered with WSFS Bank.
